output of portraits, landscapes and imaginative religious and
abstract oil paintings can be seen today from Amritsar to New Delhi
as well as on walls in Southern England. A confirmed bachelor all
his life, he died in his beloved Dharamkot(Mcleodganj) studio in 1986, aged 72.

I have
been to a lot of hill-stations in the Himalayas but only one place
would always stand out distinctly in my mind, and that is Mcleodganj.
The town has a character of its own. The friendly Tibetans make the
experience an especially enjoyable one.

the Project also began to build the first institute ever devoted
to the education of nuns.
